Introduction

The operation center monitors your site using the grid Nagios tool for our region, every hour your grid resources are transparently checked through their public interface by ad hoc probes.

Whenever the status of the critical checks changes Nagios can send an email notifying the site about the change.

Please note that the four main status for the check are:

  1. OK
  2. WARNING
  3. CRITICAL
  4. UNKNOWN

So for instance, you can be notified each time a crucial test for your site is failing changing from an OK to a non OK status.
